The creamy Butternut Squash soup tastes a little like pumpkin pie simply because it has ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon. And the soup is gritty, it isn’t as smooth as the Tomato soups. This is not one of the better soups sold by Pacific Foods.

I realized this soup has a lot of flavor compared to the tomato soups, so it needs diluted, if you will.

Tip: Because it tastes like something you eat at Thanksgiving, add sweet potatos, lots of them! If you do, you will love this soup.

I like this soup — especially at the sale price which was 50% off of the regular price. One 16 ounce carton is enough for one person IMHO (in my humble opinion). I like the fact that it is organic but I would like less sodium (salt).

I found this soup and customized it to my own taste. I added, curry powder, ginger, lemon juice and garlic (and more) to taste. I find it so satisfying and warming on a cold day. The receipes I have created with these soups bring so many compliments, I plan on keeping a pot on the stove all winter long. Low is calories, high in flavor….try your own variations. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LKU1R6/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_imgBonhoney@gmail.com

I didn’t like the taste of this…at all. It’s my third variation of Pacific Organic Soup that I’ve tried, Roasted Carrot being my all-time favorite for it’s wonderfully creamy, carroty flavor. This was like they added an obscure spice to try and make an unedible soup edible. In my opinion it isn’t worth the extreme salt and and little bit of food value as well as the high price. I won’t purchase again.
