<description>Cold Pressed coconut oil is superior to any other oil or commercially sold processed product for hair and skin moisturizing, with the possible exception to natural, unprocessed shea butter. Being a blond with fair skin and living in the far norther latitudes, I can burn very easily in the sun. Recently, I conducted a little experiment while on holidays in the tropics. After applying a sunscreen with an SPF factor of 12, I spent approximately 4 hours in the sun. Afterwards, I always showered using Moroccan cold pressed hamman black soap, let it sit on my skin for five minutes, rinsed, followed by a scrubbing with a hamman glove to remove dead skin. Then I applied coconut oil to my entire body, including hair (every third day). The results were more than amazing ! My tan was the best I have had in my entire life and even after returning from the tropics, I apply coconut oil after a shower to retain the tan and suppleness. Sold on coconut oil.
